your story deserves to be celebrated & documented.

My goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable & confident in front of the lens to ensure the best possible experience and images. I care about capturing lasting and artfully photographed moments created from genuine connection & feeling. I love sharing stories that capture your individual connection in a way that feels honest, inspiring and intimate. Your story deserves to be celebrated and documented.

Before the shoot: I love to get to know my clients prior to jumping into a shoot. I will start with a quick questionnaire for you to fill out and end it with a phone call or in person meeting (if you are comfortable with that). This creates space for you to share your vision and expectations for the shoot, allows questions to be answered and ultimately supports us connecting with each other and ensures we are on the same page. I truly care about my clients, I want you to feel supported throughout the process and make your vision come to life! Feel free to share any information or photographs that catch your eye or reinforce your personal vision. I’m here to help you along the way with everything from fine tuning your vision, finding the perfect location & creative directing!

Shoot day: Let’s be honest, most of the time the first 10 minutes of any photoshoot can feel a bit uncomfortable until you relax into it and feel confident in front of the camera. Trust in the fact that I do this everyday; I'll always prompt and direct you and never ask you to do something that feels wrong or awkward or leave you hanging with no idea what you should be doing next. I care about making this a fun, memorable and intimate session for you. We can jam to your favourite playlist, eat some gummy bears or have some fun with prompts/posing, whatever feels right in the moment for you! The objective isn’t just to take pretty pictures, but to capture you in an authentic and candid way that is uniquely YOU.

Editing: Let’s just say that I am a very meticulous human and have always had an eye for attention to detail. As soon as the photo session is complete, I upload the images into Lightroom and back them up onto an external hard-drive. Typically, a one-hour session takes hours upon hours to edit. I don’t like to do it all in one go, I prefer to come back to the images to ensure that I am happy with the editing style. I typically edit once, come back a few hours later or the next day and begin editing again. I compare edits, retouch the images and take time to reflect to ensure I am giving you the best quality photographs I am capable of. Once the images are completed, they will be uploaded into an online gallery for you to download in full size + high resolution.

I want nothing more than to make this a memorable & fun experience for you. My goal is to make you feel safe, comfortable & confident in front of the lens and capture candid photos that are represent who you are. I hope we can work together again in future and keep in touch along the way!
